Appart Hôtel Clément Ader

We had a wonderful stay at Appart Hôtel Clément Ader, right in the heart of vibrant and family-friendly Toulouse. The location is excellent — all major sights are within walking distance, even with young children. There are plenty of shops nearby, and a supermarket just around the corner, which was very convenient. Despite being in the middle of the city, the hotel itself was remarkably quiet and peaceful — something we really appreciated after a busy day in town. The hotel offers its own underground parking garage, which, by city standards, is just spacious enough to park comfortably. After a long day exploring the city, taking a dip in the pool was the perfect way to unwind. For our kids, it quickly became the highlight of each day. Our room was spacious and well-equipped, including a small kitchen. The children slept on a large sofa bed, while we had a separate bedroom with comfortable beds. One minor downside was the shower in the bathtub — at 1.85 meters tall, I couldn't stand upright underneath it. Breakfast included all the standard items you'd expect, but given the relatively high price, we found it a bit expensive for what was offered. A small suggestion for improvement: adding some bacon to the selection would be a welcome touch. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed both the hotel and the city. We can warmly recommend this place to any family looking for a relaxed and central stay in Toulouse!

During our stay, we learned that after around October 15, the property switches from air conditioning to heating. Since I prefer not to open windows due to bugs, lack of screens, and safety concerns, air conditioning remains important for airflow, even in cooler months. There’s no bathroom on the first floor, but the kitchen is excellent, and the dining and living areas are comfortable. We left our luggage downstairs since the stairs to the sleeping area are quite steep. The toilet is separate from the shower, which is convenient. The bathtub is high and made of plastic. The bedrooms are comfortable, though they have skylights instead of regular windows, operated by remote control.

The pictures of the hotel and the rooms matched the reality of the accommodation. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the late arrival instructions were easy to follow. All three apartments booked for our group were clean, well equipped and our beds were comfortable. The hotel was quiet and the city centre, train station and canal were all within 10 minutes walk and the airport around 20 minutes by taxi. Toulouse is a great city and easy to get around. I have recommended the hotel and the city to friends and family.

The apartment was great for a couple but would have too cramped for 4 people. We are at that age when a coming back to a comfy sofa after being out all day is a must. Excellent location - mins from the train station and easy access to Victor Hugo market and lots of pubs and restaurants. The room was cleaned every day and towels and tea towels were replaced every day. The bed was also made up every day which was not expected. Left a tip. I would stay here again.

We stayed in a studio apartment as a couple. It was big enough for two with a well equipped kitchenette, comfy bed, large bathroom and cleaned daily. We had a balcony that looked out on to the pool area. The pool was an added bonus in a city centre apartment especially as it was very warm when we visited. The staff were friendly. The location is brilliant with a few minutes walk to the bus station and the train station. Just a short walk takes you to the centre of the city where you will find plenty of places to eat, drink, shop and visit. We will definitely return.
